A selection of current and exploratory work. Most projects are practical systems built around real usage rather than demonstration or experimentation alone.
Some projects remain private during active development and are released publicly once stable.
islet (private, active development โ planned public release)
A local-first glucose intelligence platform for Type 1 diabetes. Designed around reliability, auditability and self-hosted control rather than dependence on commercial cloud services.
The long-term aim is personalised modelling: learning behavioural and physiological patterns over time and using that knowledge to improve prediction and decision support around meals and insulin, with strong safety constraints and transparent operation.
Currently in active private development and planned for public release once stable.
ira (public โ github.com/cadfan/ira)
Tooling for iRacing focused on telemetry, race planning and session management. Designed to improve race preparation and real-time visibility without unnecessary complexity.
llywio (private)
Experimental route optimisation system for multi-stop delivery work. Explores practical routing strategies and real-world constraints rather than purely theoretical optimisation. Early-stage and primarily a research and learning project.
wls (Welsh Lorry Simulator โ exploratory)
Long-term exploratory project investigating the creation of a detailed Wales-focused environment for truck simulation. Currently in the concept and research phase, including mapping, tooling and workflow experimentation.
